Obama Vs. Macbeth

     There are many qualities of being a good leader. President Obama has many good qualities that make him successful at what he does. Macbeth on the other hand does not which causes friction & downfall. In this essay im going to comapare a good leader to a bad leader, so you can see the different qualities.

     Some qualities that President Obama has that make him a good leader are he thinks of everybody as a hole. One way he thinks of everybody as a hole is even though he has higher authority he doesnt think as if as just President but he thinks as if he was just a regular citizen. Also President Obama doesnt just look at things from a presidents view but from people of the publics view. One way he doesnt just think of a presidents point of view is President Obama has insurance but he thought of people who doesnt & got an affordable health insurance for people. Lastly another good quality Obama has is reguardless of any negitivity around him he still remains positive. For example when he got elected not alot pf people like him because, his color but he still remained positive & started to change what he knew needed change.

     The qualitys of being a bad leader are a little different. For example the leader Macbeth wasnt a good leader at all. One of the qualitys that made him a bad leader was dishonesty. Being dishonest isnt a good quality for a leader because, how will you maintain your leadership with dishonesty. For example Macbeth couldnt be a good leader because he didnt have a good qaulity of honesty instead he was dishonest. Another bad quality that would make you a bad leader is selfishness. Selfishness makes you a bad leader because even though you have higher power then everybody that doesnt mean its all about you.

     Personally I think qualities of a good leader at harder for certain people to handle. For example look at the differences between President Obama & Macbeth, Macbeth would never be able to handle Obamas position. A good leaders qualities are harder to obtain the being a bad leader so I think thats why people reault in being a bad leader. Also I believe that people become a bad leader because they dont have the patience it takes to be a good leader.

     There are many qualities that make a good leader. Obama has many qualities that make what he does successful. Macbeth on the other hand does not & thats were the friction & downfall start. I hope this essay helped you see the differences in a good leader & a bad one. 

     

Beowolf Compare & Contrast Paper

              There were meant differences in the text & film Beowulf. The reason for this essay is to give examples of what the author wrote in the article & the events that took place in the film.

              

     The first major difference between Beowulf the article & Beowulf the film was in the article Beowulf returns to his homeland after killing Grendel's mother & Grendel. Beowulf ascends to the thrown of his home by being devout subject to king Hygelac till he & his son pass away. In contrast the film showed that Beowulf comes back to the Heorot & claims to have killed Grendel's mother. After celebrating & drinking in the hall King Hrothgar talked to Beowulf about the truth. After their talk King Hrothgar pronounces Beowulf King & commits suicide by falling off a cliff. 

              

     Another difference between the article & the film Beowulf was in the article Grendel attacks Grendel's mother. During the fight his sword breaks then he finds the sword & stabs her in the neck. In the film Beowulf lied about killing the monster & does the complete opposite & has intercourse with Grendel's mother. 

            .

     The final difference between the article & the film Beowulf was in the article dragon that Beowulf killed was just a regular old dragon. In the film the dragon that Beowulf kills actually happened ho be his son that he conceived with Grendel's mother. 

              

      In conclusion I think I made three strong points on how the film & the article differs in major ways. I think the author wrote the article the way he did to catch the readers attention as if he or she was watching the film so he gave it more flavor so the reader wouldn't get bored. 

Dresscode Essay

       Personally I dislike the Mary Phillips Dress-code. Some reasons why I dislike the Mary Phillips dress-code are because, we cant express our individuality, I Personally don't like to wear the same colors everyday & for females to wear such a light color can sometimes be a problem. 
      One reason I dislike the Mary Phillips dress-code is because, we cant express our individuality. I think everybody should be able to express there individuality & who they are. Nobody should feel like they cant express themselves for an individual instead of a collection of students. Also, I believe that every body should express themselves as individual because with me being a twin I know what its like to feel like you cant be just an individual but as a collection. 
      Also another reason why I dislike the Mary Phillips dress-code is because, I don't like the fact we have to wear the same colors everyday. I think that wearing the same color everyday is unoriginal & very plain. The color khaki isn't my favorite color, I would rather wear black or jean colored. Also not being able to wear a different color shirts besides black,white or grey shirts gets boring after awhile, I feel we should be able to spice it up a bit. 
     My last reason why I don't like the Mary Phillips dress-code is because, light colored pants might cause some problems for the females. With females having a mouthy issue I don't think light colors are best because it could be embarrassing. For a male they don't have that problem so they wouldn't know what its like to have to be cautious every mouth so we don't have to be embarrassed.
    Some people have mixed feelings about the dress-code but I personally don't like it.These are the reasons why I disagree with the Mary Phillips dress-code, we cant express out individuality, I don't like the same exact colors everyday, & Light colors might be a problem for some females.

The Ugly Duckling - Theme

 

       In the story The Ugly Duckling I feel like the author taught us a valuable lesson. I feel the lesson was " Never Judge A Book By Its Cover." I saw this example when the baby duckling was born & she came out different then all the other ducklings. The other ducklings treated her badly because she was a different color. As the duckling got older she became just as beautiful as the other ducklings. An example in real life would be people judging other people based off their physical appearance. In other words when people think they're better than someone else because of their looks, & how they dress. Just because they look or dress different doesn't mean they're any less than anyone else.
